What is the one thing you did/started doing in life which changed everything for the better?


There are a number of things that I did or stopped doing that have changed my life for the better.

1. Cold Showers
That’s right…
Cold showers — Subjecting myself to gonad shrinking frigid waters — on a daily basis changed my life forever.
Why?
Simple… Cold showers suck. They REALLY suck. If you’ve ever tried them yourself, then you know what I’m talking about.
But that’s exactly why they work.
Starting your day off by intentionally getting out of your comfort zone and doing something awful (but good for you) is a powerful way to elevate your state and begin your day from a place of power.
You don’t have to go crazy here.
Even something as simple as spending 60 seconds in a cold shower after your normal hot shower is a powerful way to prime your body and mind and help you get out of your comfort zone first thing in the morning.
Try them for 30 days and I promise your mindset and life will begin to change in unexpected ways.

2. Elevating My Social Circle
The biggest transformation I ever experienced in my life was when I started spending the majority of my time with people playing at a higher level than me.
People who are so successful in every area of life that I feel uncomfortable being around them.
When you elevate your social circle, you can’t hide behind your excuses anymore.
The people in your life will call you on your b.s., challenge you to step up to the plate, and teach you invaluable lessons about life and success.
They’ll hold you accountable to your goals and push you to go further than you ever could have on your own.
If you want to change your life then commit — right now — to start spending more time with people playing the game at a higher level than you currently are.
It will change your paradigms about life and success and force you get out of your comfort zone.
And that’s where the real growth happens.

3. Trashing My Porn
Porn is (quite literally) the biggest waste of time in the world.
You’re literally getting off to someone else’s pleasure and wasting your time and energy doing it.
I used to be hooked on porn and would regularly spend more than 90 minutes a day wasting my life in front of a screen.
When I kicked the addiction and got into my LIFE, amazing things started to happen.
My brain had a chance to reset from the crazy stimulus I was feeding it everyday. Life seemed more beautiful. Real sex and intimate connection was more pleasurable and far deeper than it had ever been.
Quitting porn changed my life forever.
If you’re currently a regular porn user (meaning weekly), then I want to challenge you to give it up.
Get out of the fantasy land and into your life.

4. Asking Better Questions
One of the best things I ever did in my life was to improve the quality of the questions I asked myself on a regular basis.
Tony Robbins says that:
The quality of your life is proportional to the quality of the questions you ask yourself on a regular basis.
For the longest time, I asked myself questions like:
  • Why am I so unhappy?
  • Why isn’t my business working?
  • Why does this suck so much?
  • Why am I so lazy?
  • Why can’t I overcome this obstacle?
And my life reflected the quality of these questions.
Eventually, I started asking myself things like:
  • How can I leverage my existing assets to solve this problem in 30 days or less?
  • If I was limited to 2 hours of work a day, what would I do? (80/20)
  • What if I already had everything I need to be happy?
  • What tools are at my disposal that will allow me to find the solution to this problem faster?
  • What would I do if I had to achieve my 10 year goals in 6 months?
This is a HUGE topic and it’s incredibly important to your success.
As a result… It will help you change your life and overcome your obstacles faster.

5. Giving Myself Permission to Be Happy
This is huge.
For the longest time, I told myself:
  • I’ll be happy when I hit 6-figures (then it was 7-figures)
  • I’ll be happy when I get into the right relationship
  • I’ll be happy when my health is better
  • I’ll be happy when my business is on autopilot
  • I’ll be happy when I achieve xyz
Eventually, after doing all of these things and still finding myself depressed, I realized that I would NEVER be happy if I based my happiness on external influences.
I made the decision to give myself permission to be happy now.
And it changed my life.
You, yes You, have everything you need to be happy right now.
But you’ve convinced yourself that you don’t.
Cut through the b.s. and accept that happiness isn’t something you achieve, it’s something you choose.
You can choose happiness right NOW no matter how hard your life might be.
Choose happiness and your life changes.
